In a nutshell, we are a dedicated group interested in increasing safety and pleasure on the waterways, through education. Promotional stuff ...
But I don't have a boat!
We don't care! It is a common misconception that you need a boat to take our courses or to join CPS. Many of our students are considering a boat and are looking to get some education before they take the plunge. Others have friends or family members with a boat and want to learn some safety. Arm yourself with information, just because you aren't at the wheel of your own vessel doesn't mean that you won't benefit from our courses. Many of our members don't own a boat....some are between boats, some just enjoy the social aspect of CPS (See how much fun we have!). We have a lot to offer, whether or not you have a vessel, come and check us out.

CPS is an association based on safe boating, and we'd like you to join us in our basic boating course so you can learn all that you can about how to be a safer person on the water. Read More ...
